左繼君，1951年出生于江蘇省沛縣。中共黨員，本科文憑，徐州醫科大學畢業后留校從事醫學教育及管理工作，高級職稱。現為國家高級書法師，書法非遺傳承人，權希軍入室弟子，中華英才融媒體中心聯盟理事會副理事長。中國老年書畫研究會會員，中國硬筆書法協會會員，國家一級書法師，香港文聯書法家協會理事，北京書法家協會會員，清華大學羙術學院客座教授，丶全國書畫藝術委員會副主席。北京胡潤國際藝術品鑒定中心副主.席。
中國楹聯學會書法研究會會員并聘為楹聯學會書畫藝術院書法系教授。中國書畫聯誼會理事既新文藝群體書畫工作委員會副主任，副秘書長，北京京華閣書畫院副院長。，中國人物界特聘藝術顧問，孔子美術館客座教授。聯墨[濟寧]藝術品鑒定中心書畫專家。哈佛藝術學院榮譽院士，亞洲國際青年電影節評審團主席中國書畫院院聘書畫家等。
自幼喜愛書法，研習書法數十年，筆耕不輟，對二王、張旭、懷素、王鐸、孫過庭、黃庭堅臨摹尤勤。在多年書法實踐中能博采眾家之長，法古而不泥古形成了自己的風格。字體優雅飄逸，靈動錯落有致，諢然一體柔中見剛，美觀大氣充滿神韻。曾在中國書法導報,書法報《銀潮雜志中》,《中國民族博覽雜志》，《辦公室業務雜志》，《藝術市埸雜志》，《中國美術雜志》，《魂力中國—當代書畫藝術精品典藏》（珍藏版國禮卷），《中國最具影響力書畫名家》[中國教育出版社]，《新中國國禮藝術大師》[中國文化出版社]，《2020國際中國公益事業大典》[cctv書畫?？痌，《中國書畫藝術典大成》[中國文化出版社]，《中國藝術榜樣年鑒》，《畫卷中國》，《企業收！藏書畫指南》，《弟子規》，巜中華英才》《人民藝術家》《榮寶齋》等處發表。入編美術檔案出版社《中國藝壇榜樣人物》，中國美術史，中國厲代書畫名家大辭典，《中國文藝家》《國寶擋案，》《中國書法全集》等。

Zuo Jijun, born in 1951 in Pei County, Jiangsu Province, is a member
of the Communist Party of China. He holds a bachelor’s degree and stayed
at Xuzhou Medical University after graduation to engage in medical
education and management, holding a senior professional title.
Currently, he is a National Senior Calligrapher, inheritor of intangible
cultural heritage in calligraphy, a disciple of Quan Xijun, and Vice
Chairman of the Council of the China Talent Media Fusion Center
Alliance. He is also a member of the China Elderly Calligraphy and
Painting Research Association, a member of the China Hard Pen
Calligraphy Association, a National First-Class Calligrapher, a council
member of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles
Calligraphers Association, a member of the Beijing Calligraphers
Association, a guest professor at Tsinghua University’s School of
Calligraphy and Painting, Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and
Painting Art Committee, and Deputy Director of the Beijing Hurun
International Art Appraisal Center.
A member of the China Couplet Society Calligraphy Research
Association and appointed as a professor in the Calligraphy Department
of the Couplet Society’s Painting and Calligraphy Art Academy. A council
member of the China Painting and Calligraphy Friendship Association,
deputy director of the New Cultural Group Painting and Calligraphy
Committee, deputy secretary-general, and vice president of the Beijing
Jinghua Pavilion Painting and Calligraphy Academy. A specially appointed
art consultant for China’s cultural figures and a guest professor at
the Confucius Museum of Art. An expert in painting and calligraphy at
the Lianmo [Jining] Art Appraisal Center. An honorary fellow of the
Harvard School of Art and chairman of the jury at the Asian
International Youth Film Festival. An appointed painter and calligrapher
at the China Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy and has studied it
for decades, never ceasing to practice. He has devoted particular
diligence to copying the works of the Two Wangs, Zhang Xu, Huai Su, Wang
Duo, Sun Guoting, and Huang Tingjian. Through years of calligraphy
practice, he has absorbed the strengths of various masters, adhering to
ancient traditions without being bound by them, thus forming his own
unique style. His characters are elegant and graceful, lively yet
orderly, harmoniously integrated, soft yet firm, beautiful and grand,
full of charm. His works have been published in various publications,
including the China Calligraphy Guide, Silver Tide Magazine of
Calligraphy, China National Exposition Magazine, Office Business
Magazine, Art Market Magazine, China Fine Arts Magazine, Soul Power
China—Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Art Masterpieces Collection

His calligraphy works have won special gold and gold awards dozens of
times in various national painting and calligraphy competitions; he was
awarded the title of "Outstanding Contemporary Calligrapher of China";
at the Second China-Japan Art Exchange Exhibition of Famous Painters and
Calligraphers, the Japanese government conferred upon him the title of
"Special Envoy of Sino-Japanese Culture". A leading figure in Chinese
painting and calligraphy in the new era. National Elite Figure in
Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy in 2019. The 2020 International China
Public Welfare Ceremony awarded him the title of "Leading Figure in the
International Art World of 2019". The China Association for the Study of
Chinese and Foreign Cultural Figures conferred upon him the title of "A
Generation of Masters"; multiple works were recommended by the Ministry
of Culture and Tourism for the "Great Nation Art" exhibition on
high-speed trains. In 2021, he participated in the "The Party’s Glory
Shines in My Heart" -Centenary Celebration of the Founding of the Party
Invitational Exhibition of Painters and Calligraphers. He also took part
in the "Focusing on Classics, Prosperous Era Paintings" -Contemporary
Art Masters Invitational Exhibition. Since 2022, his works have been
exhibited at venues including the Beijing Nationalities Cultural Palace,
Rong Bao Zhai Art Gallery, CPPCC History and Culture Museum, China
National Academy of Painting, China Federation of Literary and Art
Circles Exhibition Hall, Central Fine Arts Publishing House, and China
CPPCC Auditorium. He has also served as the curator of the China Senior
Calligraphers and Painters Exhibition and other national painting and
calligraphy exhibitions, with additional exhibitions held in France, the
United States, Austria, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, and Macau.
Masters such as Quan Xijun, Luo Yangshao, Da Zhen, and Shan Guoqiang
have given high praise to his works. His works are collected by the
National Museum of China, the National Art Museum of China, the Xu
Beihong Art Museum, and the Art Gallery of the University of Cambridge.
His calligraphy work "Renewing the Ancient with Vitality" was first
published on major websites such as Xinhua News and People’s Daily
Online. It was included in the large-scale crystal glass album "China’s
Artistic Role Models" edited by Fine Arts Archive Publishing House and
is also collected by embassies of various countries in China. His works
were selected for the 20th Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of the
China Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association and are also
collected. In 2023, he was selected as a recipient of CCTV’s "Touching
China" and "Light of the Chinese People." He is an Oscar-branded artist,
winner of the 2024 First National Essence Culture Golden Horse Award,
the Monet International Art Gold Award, and one of the world’s top ten
cultural leaders. Recommended by five countries including Russia, India,
and Argentina as a representative figure of world culture in China, he
is expected to win the Hans Christian Andersen International Art Award
in 2025. His works won the gold medal in the Florence Art Academy
Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Competition and are registered with
the China Copyright Bureau. His works are included in the Chinese
Federation of Literary and Art Circles’ Chinese Cultural Resources
Database.
